Ellen Wille – Woman, Company, Brand.

In 1967, after completing her studies in the fashion capital of the world, Paris; Ellen Wille opened a small shop in Frankfurt/Main. With her intuitive sense of coming trends, she created high quality wigs that sold very successfully. With the worldwide boom in the popularity of wigs, the early 70‘s saw the business expand. Hair replacement was no longer solely associated with sickness, but was becoming increasingly desirable as a fashion accessory. In-house models began being designed in collaboration with Eva Gabor and Josef Scigliano, hair pieces were added to the product range and the company began international co-operations with Asia and the U.S.A.

At the end of the 80’s, due to an overwhelming demand, the little shop in Frankfurt became a GmbH (limited) company. To this day, the Frankfurt shop is still the flagship store, helping to make the ellen wille brand more tangible to end users and maintaining direct contact for the company with their customers.

Because of the variety of models and subtle shades, the wig collections have found considerable worldwide appeal and the business has continued to grow. The year 2000, in cooperation with Raquel Welch, Ellen Wille created the Raquel Welch Europe Collection. With exclusive distribution rights for the European market, that still apply today, the partnership has been a sensational success!

The HairPower Collection - since 2005 this is the company’s main collection. It offers a stunning selection of design highlights from international hairtrends to new versions of all time favourite styles. This collection guarantees numerous models for everyone.

2010 saw Ellen Wille launch the Hair Society Collection, which gained international acknowledgement at the World Congress of Hair Solutions in Paris, winning two awards for „Best Collection Worldwide“ and „Lightest Wig Worldwide“. In 2012 Pure!Power, Ellen Wille‘s first 100% human hair collection was introduced to the market. 

In 2013 the Perucci Shooting Stars hit the stage. A youthful collection of exciting, fresh cuts and vibrant colours for women with a desire for change. 

The new Raquel Welch collection URBAN STYLES followed closely. Taking inspiration from international capital cities, the collection is filled with pulsating looks for modern and sophisticated women.

In 2014 a new collection entered the market, designed to make the heart of lovers of extravagance skip a beat. The LUXURY CLASS of the Hair Society Comfort Collection impresses with more than 20 luxurious and beautiful models, which are 100% hand-made.

The hairMania Gentlemen’s Collection and Latifa turban collection is continually expanded with new trend models.

2015 Ellen Wille is setting a brand new trend- the cooperation with the Tv host Annica Hansen. The new Annica Hansen Lifestyle Collection, is convincing with 15 fresh and trendy looks. With the new Top Pieces brochure ellen wille presents a selection of exclusive, high quality top hair pieces, providing the highly requested models.
